How do Aisle period undies work?

Do I need to wear a pad or tampon with them?

You know your flow best! Our undies are designed to be worn on their own, but they make great backup protection for a tampon or menstrual cup too.

How do you wash Aisle BASE period underwear?

Rinse the gusset in cool water before washing in the machine with your regular laundry. Hang to dry where possible - it saves energy and prolongs the life of your undies! Just make sure they’re fully dry before storing or reusing.

Are BASE underwear compatible with Aisle Boosters?

We kept it super simple and streamlined with BASE undies, so you can just put 'em on and go. There are no gusset pockets in BASE undies so there's no need to use Aisle Boosters.

My favorite style

I would love to order these again. I have tried other styles and I just don't like the cut or fit. The boxers are nice and I usually wear them to bed but the waistband has curled and rolled up in every pair I have which is a tad annoying. I love the mesh sides of the Base Shorty style. I came back to buy more to "help save the period aisle" but I honestly don't want to spend $50 a pair on underwear I won't wear.

I would love if these came back and with a "boost" version as well 😁

They fit okay, but are more high cut less shorty than I expected. I also expected more absorbency, especially for the cost. The absorbency says 4+ tampons, but I feel like it was more so for light flow and I just don’t think it is 4+ tampons worth. I don’t even really bleed all that much and I don’t usually go through 4+ tampons in a work day on my period, but every time I’ve worn them they leak. I don’t know if it’s an absorbency issue or a design issue, as they leak right where the seams are. I’m still happy to have them for bedtime, but I don’t feel comfortable wearing them out and about during the day or at work. I don’t think they’re a bad product or anything, and I think the materials used are definitely a lot better than others on the market, but I was a little bit disappointed. I would consider ordering up when it comes to the absorbency you’re looking for.
