FAQ

How do Aisle period underwear work?

Our specially engineered lining combines super-absorbent Truetex™ technology with a leak-proof lining that absorb 4 tampons worth of fluid. Use the removable booster for an additional 4 tampons of absorbency.

Do Aisle underwear contain PFAS?

No detectable levels of PFAS have been found in our underwear, based on a detectable limit of one part per million.

FAQ Image

Do I need to wear a pad or tampon with them?

Nope! Our undies were built to completely replace pads and tampons. They make great backup protection with tampons or menstrual cups, too.

What does the booster do?

Our undies absorb 4 tampons worth of fluid on their own, but if you need a little extra you can add the optional booster for an extra 4 tampons worth. Just tuck the ends into the slits at either end of the gusset.

How do I wash period underwear?

Our undies were made to fit into your regular laundry routine. Just rinse the gusset in cool water before washing in the machine with your regular laundry. Hang to dry where possible - it saves energy and prolongs the life of your undies!

Best period undies!

I’ve had the boxers before and loved them, so had no hesitation in buying these period 5 pairs of undies for everyday wear. They are so comfortable, not bulky or too wide in the gusset, and they do their job - very well! My only regret is that I didn’t buy more of them!

Love the High Waist

Context:

I use menstrual cups and wear period panties in case of cup overflow so I cannot speak to their true absorbency. I experience fibroids so sometimes I experience heavy bleeding. Period panties act as a back up for me in the event I can’t get to a restroom right away to change my cup.

My Review:

Love the high waist for the slight period bloat I experience sometimes. I like that the panties overall (outside of the crotch and coverage areas) are cotton, the flattering cut and coverage. I don’t like the removable pad insert in them though. I wish it was just a part of the panties. All in all, I like these and am considering buying another pair since I mostly wear a cup and use these for extra coverage in case of a leak or unplanned overflow.

Mostly awesome

Love em and would give 5 starts except the elastic around the leg openings is slackening/frilling after only a few months

Perfect

I have tried other brands and the fact that these don't feel like a secret diaper and hold up this well in the wash....AMAZING. TBH I'd pay double for this quality of period undies.

Good coverage if the “Boost” pad stayed in place

I have to say I was surprised at how well this panty fit initially. I think there needs to be a small piece of velcro to hold the boost pad in place however. The day I wore this, as I pulled down my pants to sit on the toilet, I looked down and the pad was not in my panty anymore. I panicked thinking it fell on the floor or in my pant leg…WORSE! It had stuck to my body and had then fallen into the public toilet! It is great to think you dont have chemicals from a regular pad against your body, and those pads can move around too, but I still have flashbacks to having to pick it out of the toilet and then wash it in the public sink. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Going to stick with the Essential Period Hipster panty that doesnt have any removable parts for now.
