FAQ

How are liners different from pads?

Pads are for full-on flow, with 8X the absorbency of the average disposable pad. Liners are thinner for light days, spotting, or to backup your menstrual cup.

Can I use liners for my period?

You know your flow best! Lots of folks, especially those with lighter periods, prefer to use liners over pads. Just be aware they won’t hold as much as our pads or undies do, and be sure to pair with a menstrual cup or tampon on heavy days.

Do your liners contain PFAS?

No detectable levels of PFAS have been found in our pads, based on a detectable limit of one part per million.

How do I wash my liners?

Rinse in cool water, then wash and dry with your regular laundry. Hang to dry where possible - it saves energy and prolongs the life of your products.

Where are your liners made?

We’ve been making our liners at the same small, locally-owned & operated factory for over 25 years, right here in Vancouver, BC.

Game Changer!

I love how I don't have to feel guilty anymore of contributing to waste. That was a big thing when I was using the disposable pads.

These reusable pads are comfortable, hassle-free, and so easy to wash and reuse!

Highly recommend if you are also hesitant (like I was) in purchasing reusable pads.

It is worth it!

Great Replacement for Disposable Pads and Liners with More Coverage

The extended liner is fantastic for those wanting to switch to a more sustainable form of menstrual wear! Having heard about this company on a recommendation from the Sierra Club, I know the material is sustainable, free of PFAS and toxic chemicals, and comes from a reliable and eco-conscious company. The liner is much thinner than the pads offered by this company, which makes it an easier switch if you’re used to thin disposable pads like me. However, the performance is still comparable to disposable pads and absorbs so much more than disposable liners. This liner fits me somewhere between the length of a regular disposable pad and overnight pad. It can be a little tricky to figure out how to align the liner with the snap-on buttons so it doesn’t slide or bunch but still offers good coverage. It usually only takes a couple of wears to figure out though. I thought the snap-on buttons would bother me more but they really don’t. The only potential issue is the wings might not be long enough to go all the way around the underwear gusset without bunching the fabric together. I can’t stand when that happens so I usually have to switch to a different type of underwear (a bikini or slimmer hipster work) that I previously used with disposable pads and it works great. For those that also have sensory issues like me and wear underwear with wider gussets, just a heads up to try different gusset sizes if it’s bunching up. The material itself is incredibly soft though!!! No complaints…
